Not too long ago, many dismissed the Galaxy S25 Slim as a myth. But now, there has been overwhelming evidence about such a device existing. While its launch date is heavily debated, the phone will launch sometime in 2024 as the fourth Galaxy S25 member. Renowned leaker @OnLeaks (via Smartprix) has now given us our first look at what could be one of Samsung's thinnest flagship smartphones.
Upon closer inspection, the Samsung Galaxy S25 Slim isn't very different from the Galaxy S25 and Galaxy S25 Plus. It has the same vertically aligned camera modules, hole-punch camera and flat screen. But, as its name suggests, it will shave off a few millimeters off its thickness, making it just 6.4 mm thin.
With the camera module included, that figure increases to 8.2 mm. If accurate, the Galaxy S25 Slim will truly live up to its name. But, this will understandably affect its battery capacity, which is said to be between 3,000 and 4,000 mAh. Plus, the thin chassis means a less robust cooling system to keep its toasty Snapdragon 8 Elite in check.
Based on its other dimensions (159 mm/6.26 in length, 76 mm/2.99 in width, we can infer its screen size will be around 6.7 to 6.8 inches-more or less the same as the Galaxy S25+. Exactly how much it will cost at launch is a mystery, but the Galaxy S25 Slim will almost certainly cost more than the Galaxy S25 Plus.
